Eau Claire, Wis. (Blugolds.com) – The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's tennis hosted UW- Whitewater Friday at the YMCA Menard's Tennis Center.  The Blugolds fell to Whitewater 1-8 in a hard fought match.

Natalie Wijesinghe (Sr.—Apple Valley, MN/ Apple Valley) defeated Paige Nierman of Whitewater 6-4 and 6-3.  Natalie and doubles partner Emily Cooper (Jr. –White Bear,MN/Mahtomedi) fell to Whitewater's Paige Nierman and Sabrina Palavra 8-2. 

 

The Blugolds are back in action Saturday as they host UW- River Falls and Saint Benedict (Minn.) at 9 am and 3 pm at the YMCA Menard's Tennis Center.
