Women's Tennis handed 7-2 loss by Southwestern University

Georgetown, TX (Blugolds.com)- The University of Wisconsin Eau Claire women's tennis team competed at the the Marvin D. Henderson Sr. Tennis Courts against Southwestern University in their second match of spring break. The Blugolds fell to the Pirates 7-2.

The Blugolds were swept by the nationally ranked Pirates in doubles play but were able to earn two victories in singles action.  Natalie Wijesinghe (Apple Valley, Minn.) defeated Drews-Jones (SU) 6-4, 7-5 at number one singles, while teammate Molly Sanvik (Winona, Minn.) earned a win in the number five singles slot with scores of 6-3, 4-6, 10-8.
