MADISON, Wis. (Blugolds.com) – University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's tennis coach Tom Gillman has been named Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Coach of the Year for the 2016-17 season.
Gillman captured the coaching honor for the fourth time in his career (2001, 2002, 2011) after directing the squad to a second-place finish at the WIAC championship. The Blugolds also earned a spot in the four-team WIAC tournament that will be held in the spring.
Gillman is in his 10th season with the Blugold women and currently has an overall record of 181-59-1.
