Janesville, Wis. (Blugolds.com)- The University of Wisconsin Eau Claire women's tennis team fell 5-3 to UW-La Crosse in the first round of the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Team Tournament .

In singles action Colleen McCullough (Sr. Maple Grove, Minn.) defeated Jennifer Graham(UWL) 6-4, 6-2 at number three singles, while teammate Kendra Berry (Fr. Duluth, Minn./East) got a win at number six singles, winning, 6-4 7-6.

In doubles action Paige Kuepers (Sr. Green Bay, Wis) and Olivia Gallagher  (Jr. Lodi, Wis.) secured an 8-5 win at number two doubles. 

The Blugolds finish their season with an overall record of 14-7.
