GLENDALE, AZ (Blugolds.com)- The women's tennis team started their spring break trip to Arizona with a dominating 9-0 win over Glendale Community College. 

The number one doubles team of Colleen McCullough (Sr.-Maple Grove,MN/Osseo) and Sarah Henderson (So.-Prior Lake, MN) hit the ground running with an impressive 8-1 win over number one doubles for Glendale. Paige Kuepers (Sr.-Green Bay,WI/Southwest) and Olivia Gallagher (Jr.-Lodi,WI) defeated Smith and LE 8-1 at two doubles and Brooke Volpone (So. Monticello, Minn) and Molly Sanvik (Fr.-Winona, MN) recorded a 8-0 victory.

In singles play, Henderson had a  win over J. Vlad  in number one singles, winning 6-1, 6-2. At number two singles Gallagher defeated T. Jones  6-3, 6-0.

Colleen McCullough at number three singles held off A. Smith  6-1, 6-0. At the number four slot, Kuepers defeated L. Le 6-2, 6-0.

Volpone and Kendra Berry (Fr. Duluth Minn./Duluth East) completed the singles sweep, earning wins of 6-0, 6-1 and 6-1, 6-0 at number five and six singles.

The Blugolds will face Paradise Valley Community College in Arizona, Monday March 21.
