Sullivan tallies four goals as Women's Soccer dominates St. Norbert

DE PERE, Wis. (Blugolds.com) The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's soccer team earned their first shutout of the season on Wednesday night, defeating St. Norbert 5-0.

Last year, Emily Sullivan (Jr. – Medina, MN/Wayzata) scored a season total of just five goals in 17 games but on Wednesday night, the midfielder would collect four goals for the Blugolds. Monica Zoellner (Sr. – East Troy, WI) would cap things off in the 60th minute as she scored Eau Claire's final goal and also tallied an assist on Sullivan's first goal. Emma Stange (Fr. – Andover, MN/Anoka) and Krista Koenig (Fr. – Ringle, WI/DC Everest) both supplied assists of their own on the 4th and 5th goals.

Sammy Lefaive (Sr. – Coon Rapids, MN) would stop all five shots she faced and would get another point in the W column as she improves to 2-3.
