EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (blugolds.com) - Junior defender Lauren Lenz (Saint Germain, WI/Northland Pines) of the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire soccer team was recently named to the 2016 NSCAA NCAA Division III Women's All-North Region Team. Lenz was selected as a member of the Third Team.
Lenz also earned Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) All-Conference honors for her defensive play this season that helped rank the team third in the WIAC in goals against average (.91).
Eau Claire finished third in the conference, boasting a 4-2-1 WIAC record and an 8-9-2 record overall. The team reached the WIAC semifinals before falling to UW-La Crosse.
