EAU CLAIRE, WIS. (Blugolds.com)- The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's soccer team earned a 1-0 bounce-back victory Tuesday afternoon over Hamline University (Minn.) at Bollinger field.

Box Score

The Blugolds were hungry for some home cooking, after being on the road for four of the first six games of the season. Eau Claire has looked to senior Caroline Henderson (Sr.-Duluth, MN/East) to lead the team and she has delivered so far.

Eau Claire got on the board at 18:58 of the first half thanks to Henderson, who scored her fourth goal of the season on a penalty shot. Henderson missed the majority of last year with an injury and after securing a medical redshirt, Henderson has been electric for the Blugolds.

Eau Claire keeper Sammie Lefaive (Jr.-Coon Rapids, MN) earned her second win of the season, while making two saves in the game.

The Blugolds will enjoy another home game on Thursday, September 22 where Eau Claire will take on Gustavus Adolphus (Minn.) with kickoff set for 4 pm.
