LA CROSSE, Wis. (blugolds.com) – The UW-Eau Claire wrestling team lost 43-3 in La Crosse on Friday night.
Mathew Laugen (So.-Fergus Falls, MN) tallied the lone victory for the Blugolds, defeating Alex Friedman by decision, 7-1 at 174 pounds.
Justin Karkula (So.-Oshkosh, WI) fought a close battle with Cody Endres at 285 pounds, falling by decision, 3-2.
UW-Eau Claire travels to Minneapolis, MN to compete in the Augsburg Open on Saturday. The meet starts at 9 a.m.
