NORTHFIELD, Minn. (Blugolds.com) – Competing in its first dual of the season, the UW-Eau Claire wrestling team fell 24-13 at St. Olaf College (Minn.) but three Blugolds recorded victories tonight.

At 141 pounds, Nathaniel Behnke (So.-Bruce, Wis.) won his fifth straight match by pinning his opponent in 52 seconds to improve to 7-1 on the season.

Ryan Behnke (Fr.-Bruce, Wis.) also won, taking the 165 pound match with an 8-4 decision. He is now 6-3 overall this season.

At 197 pounds, Luke Ortscheid (Sr.-Wausau, Wis./West) won with a 13-3 major decision. He is now 4-2 on the season.

Eau Claire is now 0-1 on the season while St. Olaf is 1-0.

Next up, the Blugolds will open the home portion of their schedule, hosting No. 21 UW-La Crosse on Friday, Nov. 22 at 7 p.m. in the McPhee Physical Education Center.
