Erickson finishes 14th at NCAA Regional, named DIII West Region's Gymnast of the Year

MINNEAPOLIS (blugolds.com) – University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire's Tori Erickson (Sr. – Woodbury, MN) capped off an impressive season at the NCAA Gymnastics Regional Meet at the University of Minnesota on Saturday, finishing 14th in the All-Around competition.

Erickson finished with an overall score of 38.250, which ranks third in school history. Erickson now owns the top four All-Around scores, all of which were tallied this season.

The senior also broke her own school record on vault with a score of 9.725. She finished with a 9.275 on the uneven parallel bars, 9.475 on the balance beam and 9.775 on the floor exercise, which ties for third in Blugold history.

For her efforts this season, Erickson was named the National Association of Collegiate Gymnastics Coaches/Women (NACGC/W) Division III Gymnast of the Year, sponsored by GK Elite Sportswear.
