ST. PETER, Minn. (Blugolds.com) -The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's gymnastics team traveled to Minnesota Friday night where they defeated Gustavus Adolphus College 183.875-181.950.
Julia Stedman (Sr. - Maplewood, MN) won vault with a score of 9.60, which is a season-high while teammate Liz Stubbs (Sr. - Wayzata, MN) came out with the top score on beam at 9.600, a season-high. Behind Stubbs was Erin Olson (Jr, - Faribault, MN) placing second at 9.475.
Lauren Zurowski (So.- Greenfield, WI) competed for a third place finish in uneven parallel bars, scoring 9.425. On floor, the Blugolds placed second and third. Stubbs earned a score of 9.475, another season-high, while Zurowski placed third at 9.450.
Next week the Blugolds will host their home meet as they take on UW-Oshkosh at 6:30 p.m.
