LA CROSSE, Wis. (Blugolds.com) - A five point margin was all that separated the UW-Eau Claire gymnastics team from a first place finish.
Results
Tori Erickson (Fr.-Woodbury, MN) was a top finisher for the Blugolds with a 2nd place finish in the all-around. Erickson scored 35.350 points in the all-around event including 8.975 on floor exercise, 9.500 on balance beam, 8.225 on the uneven bars, and 8.650 on vault.
Other big scores came from Julia Stedman (Jr.-Maplewood, MN) on vault and floor exercise, scoring 9.375 on both events.
Three Blugolds tied for fourth in the uneven bars. Jessica Dhaene (So.-Stacy, MN/Forest Lake Area), Leah Robinette (Jr.-Woodbury, MN), and Lauren Zurowski (Fr.-Greenfield, WI) each scored a 9.450 putting them right behind three gymnasts from UW-La Crosse.
Elizabeth Stubbs (Jr.-Wayzata, MN) grabbed a fourth place finish on the floor exercise. She ended with a score of 9.525.
The Blugolds will host UW-Stout in their final meet of the season. Events will kick off at 6pm in the McPhee Center.
