LA CROSSE, Wis. (Blugolds.com) – The UW-Eau Claire women's gymnastics team wrapped up the regular season tonight, coming up short to UW-La Crosse 186.775-181.200 at Mitchell Hall.
Elizabeth Stubbs (So.-Wayzata, Minn.) had the top finish for the Blugolds tonight as she took third in the floor exercise with a score of 9.400.
Michaela McCamey-Metropulos (Sr.-Dayton, Ohio) came in fourth on the balance beam with 9.450 points to lead Eau Claire on the event.
On the vault, Dez Stanton (Fr.-Hutchinson, Minn./Waconia) had the Blugolds' best score as she finished with a 9.200, taking fifth place.
On the uneven bars, Leah Robinette (So.-Woodbury, Minn./East Ridge) finished in sixth place to lead the Blugolds in the event with a score of 9.250 points.
Next Sunday the Blugolds will compete at the WIAC Championship/NCGA Regionals at UW-Whitewater. Action will get underway at 2 p.m.
