EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (Blugolds.com) – The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's golf team hosted 8 teams at the Georgianni Invite at Mill Run Golf Course/Eau Claire Country Club on Saturday and Sunday, with the Blugolds finishing second overall.
The Blugolds improved on Saturday's score of a 343 and had a team score of 337 (+23) for the day and took second overall in the invite with a two-round score of 680 (+104) Leading the Blugolds for the tournament and the day was Anna Uzpen (Jr. Osceola, WI/Osceola) with a score of 83 Sunday, and 166 for the tournament which put her in fifth place overall.
Megan Glaeser (So. Freedom, WI/Fox Valley Lutheran) had another strong day, shooting an 87 to finish at 167 and tied for sixth overall. Abbie Ter Maat (Sr. Stevens Point, WI/SPASH) also placed in the Top 10, tying for eighth with an 85 to finish at 169.
The Blugolds are back in action Friday at the UW-Whitewater Fall Invite.
