Blugolds, Chomniak finish in 4th at Mad Dawg Invite

STEVENS POINT, Wis. (Blugolds.com) – The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's golf team finished in fourth place at the Mad Dawg Invitational, hosted by UW-Stevens Point on Sunday.

The Blugolds shot a 348 on Sunday, bringing their two-round total to 697. UW-Oshkosh won the invite with a 646.

Allison Chomniak (Sr. – Pewaukee, WI/Arrowhead) again led the Blugolds, finishing in fourth place overall. The senior shot an 82 to finish at 160. Jessica Rudnicki (So. – Sun Prairie, WI) also shot an 82 on Sunday, finishing in a tie for 11th (168). Anna Uzpen (So. - Osceola,WI) tied for 28th overall with a 91 (184) while Monica Cucunato (Fr. – Kenosha, WI/Bradford) followed with a 93 (185) to tie for 32nd. Abbie Ter Maat (Jr. - Stevens Point, Wis. / SPASH) shot 103 in both rounds to finish 58th (206).

Next up for the Blugolds is the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) meet Oct. 5-7.
