Women's Golf finishes in 4th at WIAC Championships

REEDSBURG, Wis. (Blugolds.com) – The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's golf team competed in the final round of the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Championship on Sunday, finishing in fourth place.

UW-Eau Claire scored a 329 on the third and final round, finishing with an overall score of 983. UW-Whitewater took the team title with a score of 942.
All five Blugolds finished in the top 25 with Allison Chomniak (Jr. – Pewaukee, WI/Arrrowhead) leading the way. The junior shot an 81 on Sunday to finish at 240, jumping up from 13th place to finish in ninth.

Ashli Stolen (Jr. – Stoughton, WI) and Jessica Rudnicki (Fr. - Sun Prairie, WI) also shot an 81 on Sunday, finishing in 13th (244) and 14th (245), respectively.

Molly Lattery (Sr. – Poplar, WI/Northwestern) and Megan Glaeser (Fr. – Freedom, WI/Fox Valley Lutheran) each tallied an 86, with Lattery finishing in a tie for 18th (254) and Glaeser finishing tied for 25th (258).

The championships wrap up the fall season for the Blugolds.
