Women's Golf remains in 4th at WIAC Championships

REEDSBURG, Wis. (Blugolds.com) – After the second round of the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Championship, the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's golf team remains in fourth place.

The Blugolds shot a team score of 329 on Saturday to bring their two-round total to 654.

Allison Chomniak (Jr. – Pewaukee, WI/Arrrowhead) had a strong day for the Blugolds, shaving five strokes off Friday's round. The junior's 77 brings her total to 159 and jumps from a tie for 13th into a tie for seventh overall.

Ashli Stolen (Jr. – Stoughton, WI) and Jessica Rudnicki (Fr. - Sun Prairie, WI) follow in 13th and 14th place, shooting an 84 (163) and 83 (164), respectively.

Molly Lattery (Sr. – Poplar, WI/Northwestern) is in 22nd after recording an 85 (168) and Megan Glaeser (Fr. – Freedom, WI/Fox Valley Lutheran) is tied for 24th with an 89 (172).

The Blugolds will start the third and final round on Sunday at 10 a.m. at the Reedsburg Country Club.
