Women's Golf finishes 5th at Mad Dawg Invite

STEVENS POINT, Wis. (Blugolds.com) – The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's golf team placed fifth at the Mad Dawg Invitational on Sunday, hosted by UW-Stevens Point at the Stevens Point Country Club.

The Blugolds tallied a team score of 344 to finish with a two-round total of 682.

Allison Chomniak (Jr. – Pewaukee, WI/Arrrowhead) was the top finisher for Eau Claire, tying for 10th place after shooting an 86 on Sunday (168).

Molly Lattery (Sr. – Poplar, WI/Northwestern) cut a stroke off Saturday's total, shooting an 84 to move up the ranks and tie for 14th (169).

Ashli Stolen (Jr. – Stoughton, WI) recorded a 91 (173) to tie for 20th while Jessica Rudnicki (Fr. - Sun Prairie, WI) tied for 23rd with an 85 (174).

Megan Glaeser (Fr. – Freedom, WI/Fox Valley Lutheran) trimmed two strokes to move into a tie for 34th with an 89 (180).

Next up for the Blugolds is the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Championship Oct. 6-8 at the Reedsburg Country Club.
