Women's Golf finishes strong on Sunday to take 8th at DIII Classic

LAKE CITY, Minn. (Blugolds.com) – The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's golf team had a strong finish Sunday at the Division III Classic, moving up three spots to finish in eighth place.

UW-Eau Claire recorded a team score of 342 in the first round, but shot a 322 on Sunday to finish with a final team score of 664.

Ashli Stolen (Jr. – Stoughton, WI) lead Eau Claire, tying for 18th place after recording a 79 to finish at 160.

Allison Chomniak (Jr. – Pewaukee, WI/Arrrowhead) tied for 23rd after shooting an 82 (163).

Molly Lattery (Sr. – Poplar, WI/Northwestern) shot the low score for the Blugolds on Sunday with a 78, finishing at 168 and tied for 35th.
