EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (Blugolds.com) – The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's golf team hosted the Blugold Triangular on Thursday, April 27. The Blugolds overcame the chilly temperatures to earn a two-stroke edge over UW-River Falls, winning with an overall score of 367.
The Blugolds claimed two of the top three spots with Allison Chomniak (So. -Pewaukee, WI/Arrowhead) finishing second overall, shooting an 85 (+13) just one stroke shy of the first place finisher Isensee (UWRF) . Katie Moore (Sr.-Woodbury, MN) came in third overall with a 86, while Molly Lattery (Jr.-Poplar, WI/Northwestern) finished tied for 6th. Hallie Hancock (Jr. Eau Claire, WI/ North) and Abbie Ter Maat (Fr. Stevens Point, WI/ SPASH) tied for the 11th place finish.
Eau Claire will be back in action on Saturday as they travel to Hastings, Minn. for the Carleton Invitational at the Bellwood Oaks Golf Course.
