VICTORIA, Minn. (Blugolds.com) – The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's golf team took eighth at the Royal Match at the Deer Run Golf Club on Sunday, with Molly Lattery (Jr.-Poplar, WI/Northwestern) leading the way with a score of 81.

Results

Lattery tied for 20^th place with a two-round score of 162. The Blugolds shaved five strokes off Saturday's round to shoot a 342 as a team on Sunday.

Katie Moore (Sr.-Woodbury, MN) followed with an 86 (170) to tie for 37^th while Hallie Hancock (Jr. – Eau Claire, WI/North) tied for 46^th after shooting an 84 (178).

Allison Chomniak (So.-Pewaukee, WI/Arrowhead) tallied a 91 (180) on Sunday to tie for 51^st and Abbie Ter Maat (Fr. – Stevens Point, WI/SPASH) also shot a 91 (184) to finish tied for 57^th.

The Blugolds will be back in action at home Thursday as they host the Blugold Triangular at the Eau Claire Golf and Country Club.
