Women's Golf takes 7th at Minnesota State Invite

COON RAPIDS, Minn. (Blugolds.com) – The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's golf team took seventh place at the Minnesota State Invitational Saturday to kick off the spring season.

Results

The Blugolds finished Saturday's round with a team score of 365, bringing their final team total to 706. Minnesota State-Mankato won the tournament with a 624.

Molly Lattery (Jr.-Poplar, WI/Northwestern) led the way with a 92, bringing her two-round total to 172 and taking home 25th place.

Katie Moore (Sr.-Woodbury, MN) followed with an 88 (175) to finish 27th while Allison Chomniak (So.-Pewaukee, WI/Arrowhead) was one stroke behind her, finishing with a 176 to take 28th place.

Hallie Hancock (Jr. – Eau Claire, WI/North) trimmed 11 strokes off her first round score to finish Saturday with an 87 (185) and was 35th overall.

Abbie Ter Maat (Fr. – Stevens Point, WI/SPASH) turned in a final score of 200 to finish 43rd.

The Blugolds will be back in action Saturday, April 22 where they will compete at the Royal Match at the Deer Run Golf Club in Victoria, Minn.
