MADISON, Wis.- University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire's Katie Moore and UW-Whitewater's Stephanie Stair have been named co-recipients of the 2016 Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Judy Kruckman Women's Golf Scholar-Athlete Award. The award is sponsored by Badgerland Financial.
 
Moore, a senior from Woodbury, Minn., is majoring in nursing and owns a 3.84 grade point average. She is a three-time member of the WIAC Scholastic Honor Roll and been recognized on UW-Eau Claire's Dean's List numerous semesters.
 
A team captain the past two seasons, Moore finished fourth at the WIAC championship a year ago and claimed All-WIAC first team recognition. She also received her team's MVP award. In 2013-14, Moore was a member of UW-Eau Claire's conference champion team that also advanced to the NCAA Division III championship.
 
She is president of UW-Eau Claire's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, as well as a member of the school's Farming Hope Club, Student Nurses Association and a Student Nurse Ambassador.
