Women's Golf in 4th after Round 2 at WIAC Championships

REEDSBURG, Wis. (Blugolds.com) – The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's golf team is in fourth place after round two of the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Women's Golf Championship (Presented by Culver's).

The Blugolds shot a 338 on Saturday, improving on the opening round's 345.

Allison Chomniak (So.-Pewaukee, WI/Arrowhead) continues to lead UW-Eau Claire after shooting an 83 on the day, bringing her overall score to 163 (+19) and in a tie for third place overall.

Teammate Molly Lattery (Jr.-Poplar, WI/Northwestern) is in 11th place overall after turning in a score of 87, bringing her total to 170 (+26).

UW-Oshkosh is currently in first place with a team score of 657 (+81) while UW-Whitewater's Ashley Hofmeister is the overall leader with a 158 (+14).

The third and final round will begin Sunday at 10 a.m. at the Reedsburg Country Club.
