EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (Blugolds.com) – The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's golf team hosted the Blugold Spring Invite on Thursday, winning the four-team tournament with an overall score of 344 (+56).
The Blugolds claimed four of the top five spots with Molly Lattery (So.-Poplar, WI/Northwestern) as the overall champion, shooting an 83 (+11). Allison Chomniak (Fr.-Pewaukee, WI/Arrowhead) was second with an 85 while Katie Moore (Jr.-Woodbury, MN) and Lauren Gaffney (Sr.-Portage, WI) were fourth and fifth with scores of 87 and 89, respectively.
Eau Claire will be back in action on Saturday as they travel to Hastings, Minn. for the Carleton Invitational at the Bellwood Oaks Golf Course.
