NORTHFIELD, Minn. (Blugolds.com) –The UW-Eau Claire women's golf team competed in the Carleton College Invitational this weekend, placing seventh overall with a team score of 667.

The Blugolds shot a 330 in round one and followed with a 337 in round two.

Kate Engler (Sr.-Beloit, WI/F.J. Turner) and Emily Stone (Sr.-Eden Prairie, MN) led Eau Claire with an overall score of 161, tying for eighth place. Engler shot an 81 on day one and 80 on day two while Stone shot scores of 79 and 82, respectively.

Katy Bolduc (So.-Lake City, MN/Lincoln) was the next Blugold finisher, tying for 31^st with an overall score of 172.  

The Blugolds will return home this week, hosting the Blugold Spring Invitational at Wild Ridge Golf Course.
