EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (Blugolds.com) – The D3hoops.com preseason All-America Team was announced Monday, with University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire's Hallee Hoeppner (Sr. – Winona, MN) claiming a spot on the First Team.
Hoeppner, the only player making the list from the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC), led the WIAC in scoring last season and was the conference Player of the Year. The Winona native also was named to the D3hoops.com's Fourth Team All-America.
After an exhibition at Minnesota State-Mankato on Wednesday, the Blugolds will officially open the season on the road at the College of St. Scholastica on Friday night. Eau Claire will host Simpson College in their home-opener on Friday, Nov. 15 as part of their annual Tip-Off Tournament.
