O'Toole earns All-American honors

(Blugolds.com) – The 2016 D3hoops.com women's basketball All-Americans have been announced, with University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire center Erin O'Toole (So. - Plymouth, MN/Hopkins) earning honorable mention honors.

O'Toole was also named the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Player of the Year and is the seventh player in program history to receive the honor. She topped the conference with 18.2 points per game, while ranking second with a .482 field goal percentage and third with 8.0 points per contest and 47 blocked shots.

O'Toole reached double-figures in scoring in 20 of 24 games, including three 30-plus point performances and a season-high 35 points at UW-Stout on Jan. 13. She is tied for the league lead with six double-doubles (points-rebounds). O'Toole established conference season-highs with 21 free-throw attempts againstUW-Whitewater on Jan. 23, and 16 field goals made against UW-Platteville on Jan. 20. She was also selected to the five-member All-Defensive Team.
