EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (Blugolds.com) – University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire softball player Lauren Blasczyk (Jr.-Appleton, Wis./East) has been selected to the 2016 CoSIDA All-Academic Sixth District™ softball team.

Blasczyk, a Communication Sciences and Disorders major, has a 3.90 grade point average. The junior pitcher has a 1.77 ERA and went undefeated in conference play this season. In 115 innings, Blasczyk has given up only 29 earned runs while striking out 67. She is now eligible for Academic All-America honors.
