Fischer, who was named the WIAC Position Player of the Year this season, was presented with her third team All-America award at the NCAA Division III Softball Championship banquet, held May 16 at the Florian Gardens in Eau Claire. She became just the ninth Blugold in program history to be named an All-American and the first since Jess Freagon was named to the second team in 2011.

She led the Blugolds in runs scored with 38, second most in the league, and also led the team with six home runs. Fischer, an outfielder/catcher, is second on the team with a .368 batting average (42-for-114).

Fern played firstbase this season and was third on the team in batting with a .366 average (41-for-112) while leading the Blugolds with 34 RBI. She scored 12 runs and led the team with nine doubles. Fern led the team with 205 putouts while she also had five assists with no errors.
