One World Running

Student-athletes, coaches and spectators are encouraged to bring old shoes to the 2011 WIAC Cross Championships so they may be donated to One World Running.

One World Running is an international program promoting an awareness of health, fitness and nutrition by providing running shoes to those in need in the United States and around the world. Shoes of any condition can be donated for this cause. If the shoes are in good condition, they will be distributed to countries in need. If the shoes are not in the greatest condition, they will be ground up and used for track and playground surfaces. Basically if you have old shoes of any form that are not being used, they can be donated.
