Blugolds Compete At Wartburg Friday Night Lights Meet

WAVERLYIowa (blugolds.com) - The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire men's and women's outdoor track & field teams traveled to Iowa for the Wartburg Friday Night Lights meet. The men's team came in 2nd place out of 5 teams with a team score of 187. The women compiled a team score of 140.5 and placed 4th out of 5 teams.

The Blugolds will take the week to prepare for next weekend's Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships. The conference meet will be hosted at Ramer Stadium on the UW-River Falls campus on Friday and Saturday, May 7th and 8th. First events start at 1pm.
