MENOMINIE, Wis. (blugolds.com) - The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire men's and women's track & field teams finished day two of the Warren Bowlus invite on Saturday. One of the top performers of the day, Mitchell Stegeman (Sr. – Coleman, Wis./Suring) led the way for the Blugold heptathletes with a personal record score of 5055 points and a first-place finish.
Placing 5th, 6th, and 7th In the heptathlon was Max Foland (So. – Middleton, Wis.), Casey Chadwick (Sr. – Poynette, Wis.), and Tommy Mestnik (So. – Prior Lake, Minn.) Their marks put them in contention for qualifying for the National Championship in March.
