Track & Field turns in strong performance at Warren Bowlus Invite

MENOMONIE, Wis. (Blugolds.com) – The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire track and field teams competed at UW-Stout's Warren Bowlus Multi and Open on Friday and Saturday. The current squads combined to win 13 events with two former Blugolds winning two others.

Winning events for the women:

Kady Kochendorfer (Fr. Hudson, WI) – 60m (8.09) & triple jump (11.11m, 36-5.50)

Tommie Brenner (Sr. – Reedsburg, WI) – 60m hurdles (9.18)

Karli Olsen (So. – Blue Earth, MN) - 600m (1:40.76)

Lexi Lefever (Fr. -Hudson, WI) - 200m (26.28)

Morgan Marek (Sr. – Muskego, WI) – 3000m (10:21.43)

Megan Wallace (So. – Burlington, WI) – Pentathlon (3,280 points)

Lizz Ottusch (Sr. – Delafield, WI/Kettle Moraine) – high jump (1.62m, 5-3.75)

Allison Weiker (Fr. – Roseville, WI) – pole vault (3.31m, 10-10.25)

Erica Oawster (Sr. – Lino Lakes, MN/Centennial) – shot put (14.30m, 46-11)

Winning events for the men:

KJ Munn (Jr. – Bayport, MN/St. Croix Prep Academy) – 400m (50.45)

Lincoln Stultz (Fr. – Oconomowoc, WI) – 600m (1:24.77)

Jordan Lacey (So. – Greenville, WI/St. Mary Central) – heptathlon (4,318 points)

Indoor track and field alums Darin Lau and Roger Steen also tallied wins, Lau winning the 3K (8:26.91) and Steen the shot put (19.39m, 63-7.5).
