Randy Anderson serves as an assistant coach for the Blugolds men's and women's tennis teams. He has 13 years of head coaching experience at the collegiate level (College of St. Benedict Women and Carleton College Men & Women) and nine years at the high school level. His college coaching record is 356-122.

Anderson has coached five NCAA All-Americans and eight NCAA Academic All-Americans. Under Anderson, two doubles teams were runner-up in the NCAA Doubles Tournament, and one was a third place finish in the NCAA Singles Tournament. He has developed two Players Champions of the ITA Midwest Singles Tournament and two Teams Champions of the ITA Midwest Doubles Tournament. 

He was named MIAC Coach of the Year in 1995. Eight of his teams ranked in the NCAA Top 20, while four reached the NCAA Top 10. He coached a team to an 8th place finish in the NCAA Tournament. One player was named ITA National Rookie of the Year, two were named ITA Senior Player of the Year, and one was a two-time GTE COSIDA Division III Athlete of the Year under Anderson.

Anderson is a member of the NCAA Committee for Tennis and also serves as a clinician for MN Girls Tennis Coaches Association Annual Clinic.
