Eau Claire, Wis. (Blugolds.com) - The UW-Eau Claire men's tennis team won it's fourth match in a row, defeating UW-Superior 9-0 on Saturday.
Andrew Dahl (Fort Atkinson,Wis.) continues to roll at No. 1 singles winning 6-0, 6-3 over Borst (UWS). Daniel Schoen (Brookfield,Wis.) and Grant Mauthe (Neenah, Wis.) both won convincingly at No. 2 and No. 3 singles, respectively. Evan Fridinger (Woodbury, Minn. /Eastridge) earned a 7-5, 6-0 victory over Bulatovic (UWS) in the No. 4 singles slot. Adam Burk (Forest Lake, Minn. /Totino Grace) defeated Sherman (UWS) 6-0, 6-1 while Dane Steidl (Wisconsin Rapids,Wis.) earned a 6-0, 6-1 win at No. 6 singles.
Andrew Dahl (Fort Atkinson, Wis.) and partner Daniel Schoen (Brookfield, Wis/ Central) earned another win number one doubles, winning 8-2. Renan Barros (Itajai, Santa Catarina, Brazil) and Mauthe won convincingly at the number two doubles slot while Matt Gilbert (Minneapolis, Minn ./ Washburn) and Jordan Stephenson (Plymouth, Minn. / Wayzata) won 8-2 at number three doubles.
The Blugolds now 4-0, will host Hamline at the Eau Claire YMCA on February 16th at 6:00pm. The following day they will host Crown at 8:00am and Carleton at 3:00pm at the YMCA.
