Racine, Wis. (Blugolds.com) - The University of Wisconsin Eau Claire men's tennis team defeated the No. 17 ranked Carthage College 6-3 on April 7.

The Blugold men started off doubles play with two big victories at the two and three doubles slots. Will Weyenberg (Neenah, Wis.) and partner Daniel Schoen (Brookfield,Wis.) defeated Jaworski/Curry (CC) 8-6 in No. 2 doubles. While Conrad Felten (Wausau, Wis.) and Zach Janssen (Green Bay, Wis.) earned an 8-4 victory at the No. 3 spot. 

In singles action Janssen was dominate in his No. 3 singles slot match, winning 6-0, 6-3. Renan Barros (Brazil) earned a 6-2, 6-0 victory at the No. 4 spot, while Weyenberg and Felten both won at the No. 5 and No. 6 singles spots, respectively. 

 The Blugold men, now 13-5 overall, will compete tomorrow April 8 at Hamline University (MN) at 4pm.
