Wedl enters his fourth season as an assistant coach for the UW-Eau Claire swimming and diving team in 2021-22. Wedl was a four year letterwinner for the Blugolds from 2014-2018 and placed in the top 16 at the WIAC championship meet in all three of his events all four years. He graduated in 2018 with a degree in Kinesiology. Wedl also completed an Ironman in 2017 and skied the Birkie in 2018.
