Miller earns All-American honors

INDIANAPOLIS (Blugolds.com) – The 2018 NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships got underway on Wednesday, with Blugold Collin Miller (So. – Rochester, MN/Schaeffer Academy) earning All-American honors in the 200 IM.

Miller, the only Blugold swimmer at the national meet, clocked in at 1:48.21 in the morning's prelims, breaking the school record and earning the sophomore the top seed heading into the finals.

In Wednesday night's finals, Miller finished in 1:48.43 to take fourth place, earning the first All-American honor of his career.

Also competing for the Blugolds was diver Dylan Glumac-Berberich (So. – Fridley, MN) who finished in 17th place in the 3-meter dive with a score of 412.50.

Miller will compete again on Friday morning in the 100 breaststroke prelims with the finals slated for Friday evening. Glumac-Berberich will also compete Friday in the 1-meter dive, which will take place in the evening session.
