Swimming and Diving dominates Titans

OSHKOSH, Wis. (Blugolds.com) – The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire swimming and diving team turned in a dominating performance on Saturday, with the women defeating UW-Oshkosh 157-79 while the men beat the Titans by a score of 170-56.

In addition, diver Dylan Glumac-Berberich earned an NCAA zone cut. The sophomore tallied a score of 288.45 on the 1-meter dive. 

"I am very pleased with how our team performed today," said Head Coach Annie Ryder. "For the men it was their first dual meet of the season and they posted some great times, especially this early in the season. I was happy with the intensity in which they raced today. The women came off a tough dual last night and swam hard today posting some really nice swims. It was nice watching them swim hard and racing."

The Blugolds will be back in action Saturday when the host UW-Stevens Point at 1 p.m. in the McPhee Center.
