Men's Swim & Dive Comes Up Short Against UWL

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (Blugolds.com) – The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire men's swim and dive team fell to the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse on Saturday, 140-97.

Results

Jacob Mehring notched a victory in the 1,000-yard freestyle for the Blugolds, winning with a time of 10:42.29 while teammate Ryan Young won the 100-yard butterfly, clocking in at 54.53.

Noah Gannon took the top spot in the 100-yard breaststroke, finishing with a time of 1:02.57.

"The men had some excellent swims and are much improved from last week," said head coach Annie Ryder.

The Blugolds will be back in action Saturday, Nov. 14th as they host Minnesota State-Moorhead.
