ST. CLOUD, Minn. (Blugolds.com) – The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire men's swimming and diving team had a busy Saturday, competing in duals with St. Cloud State and the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, falling to both teams.
Against the host SCSU, the Blugolds lost by a score of 207.00-83.00 while coming up short against UW-Stevens Point 221.00-67.00 at Halenbeck Hall Aquatic Complex.
Ryan Young (Jr. – Lakeville, MN/North) was the top finisher for the Blugolds, winning the 200 yard Butterfly with a time 2:01.15
"We saw some good things with the men and swam against two very talented teams," said Head Coach Annie Ryder. "We had some strong swims and also saw a few things we need to work on."
The Blugolds will be back in action Nov. 7th as they host the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse at 1 p.m.
