Fisher Leads Blugolds in Day 2 of WIAC Championships
BROWN DEER, Wis. (blugolds.com) - Day two of the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) swim and dive championship is in the books with Ben Fisher (So.-Roselle, IL) leading the way for UW-Eau Claire.

Results

Fisher won the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 56.87 and was the only Blugold to win an event on the day.

Dayton Miller (Fr.-Rochester, MN) finished second in the 400-yard individual medley in 4:07.75.

On the women's side, Rachel Treadway (Jr. Cottage Grove, Minn.) finished second in the 400-yard individual medley with a time of 4:36.35 while teammate Lisa Reed (Sr. Duluth, Minn.) finished third in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:55.39.

The relay team of Emma Smith (Sr. Hales Corners, Wis.), Sidney Fairbrother (Jr. Maple Plain, Minn.), Maddie Gray (Jr. Roseville, Minn.), and Reed finished third in the 800-yard freestyle relay with a time of 7:47.67.

Eau Claire will return to action tomorrow for the final day of the meet.
