It took the Blugolds just over 52 minutes of hockey to put one past Auggie goaltender Jordyn Kaufer, but they were able to tie it, and then win it minutes later as it looked the game was headed to overtime.

After a scoreless first period, the Auggies struck first in the second with 4:52 remaining on a goal from Eli May.

After a rather quiet first two periods with just 15 shots on goal, the Blugolds came to life in the final frame with 11 shots on goal that led to much needed scoring opportunities.

With 7:48 left in the third period, the Blugolds finally got on the board on a huge goal from Jesse Tredinnick (So. - Onalaska, WI) assisted by Brandon Wahlin (Jr. - White Bear Lake, MN) and Jake Hopfner (So. – Eastpointe, MI).

Tredinnick's game-tying goal was his eighth point in the last five games with a point coming in all five (4 goals, 4 assists).

With just 1:14 left in the game, the Blugolds struck again to eventually steal the win on a goal from Patrick Moore (                Jr. - Grand Rapids, MN) assisted by Adam Knochenmus (Jr. – Roseau, MN) and David Henry (Jr. – Foster City, CA).

This comeback win would have likely not been possible without yet another strong performance from goaltender Tyler Green (Sr. – Noblesville, IN). Green stopped 30 of the 31 Auggie shots on goal to keep the Blugolds within striking distance all night.

Green has allowed more than two goals only one time all season as his record will improve to 7-2-1 after this win.

The Blugolds (11-3-2) will look to keep their winning streak going tomorrow night as they travel to St. Paul to take on St. Thomas. Puck will drop at St Thomas Ice Arena at 7 p.m.
