EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (blugolds.com) – The UW-Eau Claire men's hockey and women's basketball teams will be hosting Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) tournament games this week after both teams received No. 2 seeds in their respective tournaments.
The men's hockey team will host 3rd seeded UW-River Falls at Hobbs Ice Arena at 7 p.m. and again on Saturday night, also at 7.
Ticket prices will be as follows. Current season ticket holders have until 12 p.m. on Friday, February 27 to purchase their reserved seat for both nights.
$10 – Reserved Section
$8 – Adult General Admission
$6 Senior Citizens
$4 Youth (K-12th grade) and ALL college students
*No passes will be allowed except for WIAC passes. No discounted tickets and UWEC students will need to purchase tickets.
If the Blugolds win the series, they will play in the WIAC championship game on Saturday, March 7 at the highest remaining seed.
The women's basketball team earned a first round bye to the semi-final round and will host a 7 p.m. game in Zorn Arena against the highest remaining seed following Wednesday's first round.
