Men's Golf in 2nd after first round of Twin Cities Classic

ELK RIVER, Minn. (Blugolds.com) – The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire men's golf team is in second place after round one of the Twin Cities Classic, hosted by Gustavus Adolphus College.

Results

The Blugolds shot a 298 (+10) on Saturday and trail Saint John's who turned in a team score of 294.

Alex Rogan (Jr. – Lino Lakes, MN/Centennial) and Isaac Prefontaine (So.- New Franklin, WI/Green Bay Preble) led UW-Eau Claire with  73's (+1) and are tied for fourth place.

Nick Bauer (Sr.- Oshkosh, WI/North) is tied for 12th (75) while Cole Jahnke (Fr.- Stillwater, MN) is tied for 22nd (77).

Sunday's second round will be at The Links at Northfork with Monday's third and final round at the Edina Country Club. Follow the action on Blugold Game Day.
