ELK RIVER, Minn. (Blugolds.com) – After the second round of play at the Twin Cities Classic, the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire men's golf team has moved into fourth place.
After Saturday's team score of 302 (+14), the Blugolds shot a 304 (+16) on Sunday at the Links of Northfork.
Isaac Prefontaine (Fr. - New Franklin, WI/ Green Bay Preble) continues to lead UW-Eau Claire, moving up seven spots on Sunday to move into fourth place. Prefontaine shot a 72 to bring his two-round total to 144 (+1).
Grant Burish (So. – Janesville, WI/Shattuck-St. Mary's) also moved up one spot and is now tied for 23rd after shooting another 76 (+4) while Brady Thomas (So. – Middleton, WI) is also tied for 23rd after shooting a 75 on Sunday, moving up 12 spots.
Ryan Isaacson (Sr. – Eau Claire, WI/Memorial) jumped seven spots with a 76 and is now tied for 28th.
Eau Claire will play the third and final round on Monday at Le Sueure Country Club.
