ELK RIVER, Minn. (Blugolds.com) – After one round of play at the Twin Cities Classic, the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire men's golf team is tied for sixth place.

Results

The Blugolds shot a team score of 302 (+14) on Saturday's first round, which was played at the Elk River Country Club. The University of Manitoba sits in first place with a 279.

Five Blugolds are in the top 35, with Isaac Prefontaine (Fr. - New Franklin, WI/ Green Bay Preble) leading the way, shooting a 73 (+1) and is tied for 11^th.

Alex Rogan (So. – Lino Lakes, MN/Centennial) and Grant Burish (So. – Janesville, WI/Shattuck-St. Mary's) tied for 24^th with a 76 (+4) while Ryan Isaacson (Sr. – Eau Claire, WI/Memorial), Brady Thomas (So. – Middleton, WI) and Nick Bauer (Jr. – Oshkosh, WI/North) are tied for 35^th after shooting a 77 (+5).

Eau Claire will play round two on Sunday at the Links at Northfolk and round three on Monday at Le Sueure Country Club.
