EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (Blugolds.com) – The Frank Wrigglesworth Blugold Invite wrapped up on Monday at the Eau Claire Golf and Country Club, with the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire men's team turning in a round two score of 291 to come away with a first place finish.

The Blugolds tallied an overall score of 603, was just enough to edge Augsburg College and Concordia-Moorhead, both whom turned in overall scores of 606.

Brady Hanson (Jr.- Woodbury, MN/East Ridge) and Joey Dreier (Jr.- New London, MN) led the Blugolds on the weekend with both golfers shooting a 148, tying for third place.

Bethel's Alex Case was the overall champion with an overall score of 146 (69, 77).

The Blugolds will be back in action Saturday as they travel to Blackberry Ridge Golf Course to compete in the Saint John's Invitational.
